Hello TLGTA Members!

On Saturday, July 18th, TLGTA will be making a trip to the Toronto Islands for our annual Island Tennis Picnic and Hanlan's Point Social.

Bring your friends, significant others, appetite, tennis racquets, swimwear (for Hanlan's), towels, frisbees, lawn darts, footballs, soccer balls and hula hoops if you got'em. We have confirmed with the City of Toronto at least 2 courts are up and running which is great news for social doubles tennis.

10am to 3pm (We will eat around Noon)

Toronto Islands - Hanlan's Point
Area beside the Tennis Courts

Cost
$7.25 for Toronto Island Ferry (return trip included)

Ferry Schedule
Ferry to Hanlan's Point departs at 8:45am, 9:30am, 10:15am, then every 30 mins
You can also check the ferry times at the City of Toronto website, please check this link for times.
*** Take the Hanlan's Point Ferry. It is closer to the tennis courts. ***

Food & Drinks
We will provide Vietnamese sandwiches and H2O. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share with your fellow TLGTA peeps, and your beverage of choice. There is a snack bar close by that has beer, pop, and booze for sale...

Beach
We encourage you to bring a bathing suit and towel. We will play some tennis and other games, eat, and then head to the beach.

Please RSVP by July 15th and let us know what dish you are bringing and if you are bringing somebody along as well.

Everyone is welcome, you do not need to be a member to attend our island social. We can't wait to see you on the Islands!
