There are many different tournaments you can participate in throughout the year and you don’t have to be an advanced player to play. Each of the tournaments have different divisions to accommodate all skill levels. There is a tournament fee that covers the cost of supplies, awards/prizes and court rental.

• GLTA: The Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA) sanctions tennis tournaments all over the world, in places like Canada, USA, England, Italy, Germany and Australia. These tournaments allow you to earn points towards your ranking. The Canadian Gay Open (CGO) is our international tournament and takes place in May during the Victoria Day long weekend. This is Canada's largest GLTA sanctioned tournament and attracts over 150 participants.
• TLGTA: With the exception of CGO, most of TLGTA's tournaments have smaller draw sizes, smaller entry fees and are held at the North York Winter Tennis Club
